2015 Plans and Prayer Needs:

New doors are opening in other countries:  Botswana, Swaziland, South Africa, Mauritania, Central African Republic and Togo. Some of these countries are Muslim dominated. This calls for an increased effort in evangelizing, so pray for God’s leading as they plan their travels and outreaches.

Evangelism seminars will be held quarterly, for upcoming church planters and pastors in regions near to them. A goal is for trainees to commit to oversee the new bibles studies that are started as a result of crusades in these new villages, and to emphasize salvation, spiritual growth, water baptism which is done within 3 weeks after the crusade, church fellowship and membership.

Missionary Teams & Bibles:  Please pray for safety and effectiveness of the U.S. team sent by CMC January 5 to February 8 as they work along side Godfrey’s team in Uganda and Mezgebu in Ethiopia. Both leaders are in great need of bibles for new believers, so if you feel God leading you to contribute toward that, please designate Bibles on your donation.  Godfrey is praying that more teams from other countries will come to Africa to give input to the locals. The Ugandan team accomplishes a lot without international teams, but their coming is an important addition to the local efforts.

Restoration Center building project for people coming out of drugs, alcohol, and prostitution. Project cost is $90,000 and is progressing well. The walls have been built from funds raised locally in Uganda, but they still need $46,200 to have the center completed. They are believing God that He will send people and groups to help accomplish this work.  If God moves you to support this ministry, you may donate with the link below or mail a check to CMC and designate the gift as Uganda Restoration Center.

President’s Corner (Update from Jonathan Morris)
As we get past thanksgiving time and prepare for the final month of 2014, we’re thankful for all that God  has done this year through our partners in many nations. Although I’ve been on personal sabbatical from international travel, God has been empowering our friends to go beyond their own familiar places to “take the land.” In central America, leaders from Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, San Salvador,  and Costa Rica have begun working with CMC. We were able to hold a delegate conference in Panama. One brother who attended, from Puerto Rico, was also able to join with others attending conferences and outreaches in the Philippines. He will plan to establish the pastors working networks in his country. Victor Chong is doing a great job spearheading work in the Spanish speaking world. Meanwhile, Mez from Ethiopia has been organizing and training pastors in Jos province, Nigeria. Godfrey Saazi has been developing teams in Zambia,
Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, and other African nations. We’re now planning for January outreaches in Uganda and Ethiopia. Consider joining us and expect a life changing experience and a deepened appreciation of our great and mighty God. Continue praying for us as we seek His guidance. After a few broken bones in Uganda this past month while traveling by motorbike in rain (some Ugandan workers, not me), we’re also reminded of our need for God’s protection.
