CMI Peru has been established as the CMC country organization there. The main coordinator for all CMI Peru activities is Pastor Jose Linares. He and Luis Miguel Rotalde arranged meetings 2009 July-August in which Jonathan Morris and Eugene Masuda participated, communicating the CMC vision to many local pastors. Below are some photos from that visit. As a result of these meetings, CMI Peru formed.

Pastor Victor Chong had this to say: God helped us a lot during the 8 day crusade en the cities of: Huancabamba,Sondor Sondorillo ,Canchaque,Sechura in Peru. 425 people came to Christ, glory to God! Africa

Ethiopia is the newest country in which CMC International operates. With the conclusion of the trip there in June 2009, it has become clear that God is sparking a church planting movement in that country. We became acquainted with many pastors from multiple denominations from Addis Ababa and across the country. Many of these pastors have embraced the CMC vision, and have already committed to the church multiplication work that we presented. We have also met several people who are established leaders among the churches. We are thankful to have a new country coordinator, Mezgabu Tsemru.

CMC teams work in Uganda to evangelize and help develop churches. In both rural and city settings, we hold campaigns designed to help native east African Christians extend the Kingdom of God. Thousands have found true faith in Christ and many churches have been developed as a result of this new developing partnership with African Christians. We are partnering with a strong local evangelist team and developing pastors’ groups through our Church Multiplication Coalition organization. CMC is helping to train and empower the Ugandan pastors. These emerging leaders will become the core of our work: Partnering for evangelism and discipleship in these strategic areas on the borders of the Muslim World.

Middle East

If you are interested in the Middle East, we are looking to strengthen out network there. if you want to be part of the team, contact us.

Asia

S. E. Asia

In this ancient south Asian country, tribal people groups responded to the Gospel in the last century while the dominant ethnic group has remained mostly unreached for Christ. Generally, people from the main group are very reluctant to receive the Gospel from the tribes people, even if they admire them or are appreciative of their practical help. Our teams partner with tribal believers to present the good news to these mostly Buddhist neighbors and friends who need to know Christ.

Here’s how it works: Tribal evangelists and church-planting pastors arrange in advance for the neighbors to be invited into a home where a planned church will meet. Two or more American team members will greet these guests there and spend several hours presenting the story of God’s salvation, usually beginning with the creation story, along with a native interpreter. Then the people are given an opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Those that receive the Gospel become the beginning of the church that will meet in that home. The churches are semi-underground, as their totalitarian government discourages Christian faith. In spite of the difficulties, many are coming to faith in Christ and some are boldly working to push forward the Gospel. We trust God will continue to guide us and give us greater opportunities to reach this unreached people group for His Glory.

We are active in many countries around the world. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, in some countries we operate under a different name.
