Central Region 2009 Report

Our CMC barangay outreach has been blessed with great results in every area where we started to different locations particularly in Pangasinan for Central Luzon coverage. Only this year 2009 CMC Networks started, only one time last October we have four consecutive nights of crusades, but praise God it was indeed very successful and fruitful Amen! Inspite of our limited missionaries to conduct crusades in the area, CMC Networks were so active in the continuity of our goal. We started barangay outreaches through crusades and film showings. The result, as of this year there were 10 newly planted churches.

Oct-Nov 2009 Luzon Crusade: Team Member Testimonial

By Luana Oliver

So... let me see...the feeding program as a whole was a very rewarding experience.

The first place we went was Binmaley. It very well organized by the local leaders and they had everything setup for our arrival. After a short time of sharing by Cedric and Joy a line was formed at the back of the area we were in, it was a private house with a large parking area so people could not see from off the street. Anyway, a rice soup had been prepared and some of our Filipino team were making 2 kilo (I believe) bags of rice while the sharing was happening. So as people came up in the line they were given a bag of rice and a bible and then a cup of soup. Although it was late morning and very hot several people were there.

The second place was San Fabian. When we arrived there were very few people at the area. It was a rest area by the road that was covered. So we all decided to go invite people. I was with the local pastor. As we walked he invited people to come to the evangelistic event. The people we talked to were all playing games of one kind or another, a tile game, cards, some kind of pool with flat pucks and did not really seem that interested and it was VERY HOT! We were going to begin as soon as we walked back and that is what the pastor was telling them. So we walked as far as the ocean and then back. When we got back there were chairs setup and maybe a handful of people there. Joy was with some of the ladies making up the rice bags. So we began and each of the 3 of the Americans did a short greeting then Cedric and Joy did the cube presentation. As they spoke more and more people stopped but they were not aware that we were giving out food. The invitation was given and several people received Christ, when they heard they were going to get a bible they were all so excited that it started getting a bit crazy, people were just so excited. We took names from each person that got a bible and we had run out of Answer books so people were writing there names on post it notes. They were holding up their Bibles and wanting us to take pictures. We ran out of Bibles and promised that more would be coming. They were all hungry for the Word of God. So now the rice began to be passed out and the crowd started getting bigger since we are right on the street. It was quite exciting to say the least. God was being served in spirit by the Bibles and physically with the food... a Great combination. I think there will be some churches planted there, I can not wait to hear about that place.
